"Moor House School does outstanding work at transforming the children’s lives.  They come in lacking self-confidence, broken in spirit, almost illiterate, often the victim of years of bullying and viewing themselves as failures with no future.  Within a few weeks, they blossom as everyone at the school understands exactly what their language disabilities are and how to help them. They have friends for the first time as their peers all have similar difficulties. They find themselves succeeding for the first time in their lives and they believe that they have a future.  Many leave at 16 with GCSEs and go on to further education and happy lives.”
