We consider that strong school-parent links are essential in ensuring our students achieve their potential. We aim to help parents to support their child at home, inform parents about how we help their child at school and work together to learn from parents’ experiences. PSA events and parent workshops allow families to meet other Moor House families, share experiences, support each other and enjoy activities and events together.

Parent workshops are run by Moor House staff and aim to be enlightening and interactive with video examples, suggestions for home and opportunities to ask questions and share ideas. Parents and carers can contribute or just to listen to others and to the professionals.

Parent Staff Association
All parents and carers are automatically members of the PSA and membership is free. The PSA is run by a committee of volunteers and all staff are also members of the PSA. General meetings are held once a term and everyone one is welcome to join. The PSA provides an ongoing framework for support and communication between parents and staff. The PSA leads fundraising events on behalf of the whole school community. The fundraising team is always looking for new ideas to raise funds and support to run the events. It is a great opportunity to meet socially and volunteers need no prior experience! To find out more about the Moor House PSA make contact via the school office.
