A Specialist Speech and Language therapy Assessment

Duration: 0.5 days

  • A full clinical assessment by a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to include:

    Expressive language, including use of grammar and vocabulary
    Receptive language, including understanding of grammar and vocabulary
    Pragmatics/social use of language
    Phonology speech screen
    Literacy screen - phonological awareness
    A short informal language assessment, including language sample and interview
    Observation of Communication Skills - nonverbal and verbal
  • Brief discussion with therapist based on Parental Questionnaire previously completed
  • Brief clinical feedback session with parents, including an explanation of formal assessments and the predicted content of the assessment report
  • A full clinical report (12 pages)
